The Enhancement Strategy for Cappa focused on its connection to the sea, the pier and the beach. The strategy related to an Architectural Conservation Area, with significant works relating to and in close proximity to a Protected Structure – Cappa Pier. It included the development of amenity and tourism related uses and spaces, mobility analysis and connectivity enhancements, materials and colour palette developed with reference to the character of the area and coastal context, strong public engagement and buy-in from community.
